Sexton was already a standout in Street competition, combining the usual grind moves with ramp-inspired jump tricks and flairs on the smallest of transitions, and he's taken it a step further by becoming proficient in opposite moves, as well. He can add spins in either direction to a multitude of tricks, an extra level of difficulty that could heavily impact his scores. Sexton is no stranger to the podium, having earned bronze at BMX Street's X Games debut in 2008. In fact, he's the only person to have emerged from any X Games Street battle with Garrett Reynolds with gold around his neck, topping him in a tie-breaker in international competition at X Games Mexico in '08.
